New Mexico

     In 2006, I traveled to New Mexico.  There I stayed in Santa Fe and Abiquiu,  at Las Parras and Ghost Ranch.  The land is intoxicating and awakens an ancient memory in many who witness the beauty of this terrain.  So it was for Georgia O'Keeffe, who called this place home. 
     In 2007, I returned, this time staying in the Village of Abiquiu in a small casita.  It is from this casita that I have painted El Cerro, Pedernal, The Chama River, as well as others, not yet completed.  These paintings will be called The Abiquiu Suite.

New Jersey

     In thesummer, 2007, I began painting with a very talented group of painters from Pat Witts Barn in Millville, NJ.  We traveled about an hour away from the ocean to Millville, to be near the Maurice River at Burcham Farm, the last dike farm in New Jersey.  Here, I began to paint in oil and the paintings below are as a result of this endeavor.  Two of the paintings were on display in September, at the Ocean City Arts Center in Ocean City, NJ.
