Like flowers, the leaves of the tropics are attractive and compete for your eye.  They come in a wide range of colors, shapes and sizes.  As a painter you think that they would almost paint themselves, until you try.  For transplantd "Northerners",  in the absence of a "fall" season, these are the leaves that satisfy the need for colorful leaves.
